COMPUTER INTERFERANCE

MY HP computer causes heavy interferance on my ft857..80 meters s9 plus, 40 meters s7 etc...
vhf a carrier on 145.05...
I turn it off and still some interferance.
I unplug it and no interferance.
Any suggestions?

Mine does the same thing. Of course mine is an older model and I believe if we were to do the math we would find that the processor speed is a multiple of 80 meters.
I think I need to break down and buy one with a faster processor so that it is not a multiple of 80 meters or any other ham band.
It did help just a little to have it plugged in the same circuit as the radio.
